Your Role as a Social Media Manager
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy across various platforms to enhance our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. Your role is crucial for driving brand awareness, engaging our audience, and ultimately growing customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Design and implement a social media strategy that aligns with Amazon’s marketing goals and objectives.
- Content Creation: Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across all social media platforms.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and manage customer relationships through social media channels.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media activity, using insights to optimize campaigns and inform strategy.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure cohesive messaging and to leverage feedback for continuous improvement.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, platforms, and emerging technologies to ensure Amazon remains at the forefront of social media innovation.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage paid social media campaigns, ensuring they fit within overall marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and best practices.
- Proficient in using social media management tools (such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Create a strong portfolio showcasing your previous work in social media campaigns and content creation.
- Proven ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
